FUNDO CHINCHEROS
Fundo Chincheros is an end 19th century ranch, dedicated to traditional Andean animal husbandry, such as llamas, alpacas, cows, sheep and horses.

We have recently opened our farm house with an accommodation facility offering very comfortable rooms, horseback riding, country walks, bird watching, being in contact with lamas and alpacas, the possibility for visitors to share daily farm activities, or just spending some relax time out in the nature.

It is a very quiet place not more than 20 minutes from Puno city, has 125 hectars and it is been part of the natural reserve Titicaca, an interesting alternative of rural tourism, which allows you to get a real feeling about the region you are visiting.

There is no better place in the Altiplano where the visitor can have a complete experience of contact with farm animals and the nature. At the Fundo Chincheros you can find dairy cows , fine Peruvian Paso horses, sheeps, Andean camelids ( vicuna , alpacas , llamas ), besides enjoying the wonderful view, flora and highland wildlife as it is located in the buffer zone of the National Reserve Titikaka.

Visitors can go horseback riding, explore different walking trails along the farm and surroundings, such as our walk through the distinctive cactus forest or simply enjoy the stunning scenery and the tranquility of the nature.

At night visitors can relax in our comfortable room with stile and history, share a nice glass of wine in front of the chimney of enjoy the magnificent star view on a camp fire.
